Make me walk like you
Lord, You know what to do to make me walk a little like You. First, let me look to where You are and not at things near and far.
Lord, You know what to do to make me walk a little like You.
First, let me look to where You are and not at things near and far.
It’s lonely here where I am and the ocean waves rise high and brave.
They have no mercy and no shame, and they would devour me if they can.
But You are mightier than all of them and You’ve prepared a path for men.
It’s flat and firm with guarding rails and no one can change its place.
They think they can but if they try they’ll be devoured the way they bite.
And You are there for all to see that You help us and control the sea.
